@BaghdadLavrov @justincbzz If it’s a narrow loss then no, since Fidesz will still rule most of the institutions. If TISZA gets a constitutional majority which could cut off Fidesz tentacles then I see him going to Russia claiming political persecution when his corruption finally gets prosecuted.

All you need to know about Orban is in the romanian presidential election he supported Simion, simply because like him, he's also Russia's agent, despite the fact that Simion is a deep xenophobe and hates the romanian ethnic hungarian population. Orban choose Russia's interests over the interests of hungarians.

@JustinTLogan And that’s ignoring the fact that Russians were doing everything in their power to limit gas deliveries in 2021, to drain storage to a minimum. They were preparing for war and low storage levels were another way of ratcheting up energy pressure.

@JustinTLogan A director of foreign policy studies should probably know that Russia cut off most gas supplies to EU before Nord Stream was bombed. Those pipelines were out of commission by September. First cuts by Moscow were enacted in April-June period.

This is a very odd way to describe what happened to Russian gas after the invasion of Ukraine. “The invasion” didn’t “effectively” cut the gas off. Russia didn’t cut the gas off. Europeans sanctioned RU pipeline gas, killed one pipeline, and the Ukrainians bombed the other one.

@sebwogipodean @john_macgowan Tbh would do ok vs Shaheds Ukrainians had decent luck with Yak-52 with a guy firing a rifle from the cockpit. Propeller planes with machine guns vs Shahed style drones can work very well.

Based on comments, we looked deeper into the the Clash report about Shahed parts found in the drone that struck Cyprus. We found this: Some news agencies reposted this information, but all of them refer specifically to the message on the "Clash Report"  Telegram channel. Even the Cyprus media shared this video with reference to NEXTA (t.me/nexta_live/112…)

These exact wreckage fragments were filmed and published back in September 2024 independent.ie/regionals/wexf…  We will keep looking into this case to see what we can discover as well as learn about the parts in other Shaheds being launched by Iran and its proxies. But our recommendation to seek Ukrainian assistance against the Shaheds stands, as well as our belief that Russian Shahed improvements have flowed back to Iran. x.com/davidhalbright…
