This is absolutely hilarious. The referee wrongly did not award the penalty, but VAR deemed to have rightly not intervened to correct the mistake. You could not make it up.
Dale Johnson@DaleJohnsonBBC

The Premier League's Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel has ruled there was no VAR error on Kai Havertz's penalty claim for Arsenal v Everton. However, it unanimously voted that the spot-kick for Michael Keane's foul should have been awarded on-field. 👇 bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

@afcjxmes If they deduct them now and we win, the narrative would become we only won cause they were punished

I’m curious. If you had the opportunity for City to get a points deduction before the end of the season, would you take it or not?

Arsenal fans wanting City to not get charged this season just to prove a point to rival fans are is just weird icl. "Lets compete against an opponent thats allowed to cheat" all because what rivals and media say matters that much to you 🚮

This is mental, it doesn't chime with Arsenal at all? Arsenal have a great history and their own identity to celebrate. Why are they thieving European ultra/paninaro culture & passing it off as their own? It has nothing to do with the Barnsbury Estate or even London.

Personally the league is my number 1 priority by a mile from day 1 of the season. I was livid after Brentford/Wolves results far more than yesterday. We need this league title so badly as a club/fans. Anything that comes on top on it is a bonus. That how I feel

Saka has been poor this season, correct. But a lot of our fanbase don’t know what it means to be critical. They’re just being stupid rats disguised as fans as per They’ll all be jolly for a parade though, you lot deserve NOTHING

Problem is that a lot of people don’t enjoy sports or the athletes. They’re watching to start or win arguments against a bunch of other losers. That’s why everything has to be extreme. Everyone’s overrated. They can’t even discuss players they like without putting another down.

In his first press conference as Arsenal head coach, Arteta was asked the main lesson he had learned from working with Guardiola. He said: "You have to be ruthless." Picking Kepa over Raya was not the ruthless decision. It was fair & reasonable, but not ruthless. It cost them.

We got what we deserved today. Abysmal performance. Tinpot trophy or not, we embarrassed ourselves on the big stage. Obviously hope today’s pain and frustration drives the boys on to win the title. Pressure on Arteta.

Arteta wasn’t brave, and had no answers. It’s bizarre that we didn’t even try to change the game. Madrid showed how open City are and we didn’t learn a thing. Piss poor.

@OsmanZtheGooner The conversation should start with Mikel Arteta getting called out first. The guy just can’t coach an attack.

When the season ends, we need to have full conversation and strict action on our attacking department. 90% of them are not good enough sadly.
