We have all sinned. We have lied, lusted, coveted etc. We are all worthy of hell. Yet God had mercy on us and sent His Son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. Three days later He was resurrected and those who believe in Him will inherit eternal life.

@teaminney I certainly dont think it is necessary. I just so rejoice at what Jesus has done i want to glory in the cross all day!

@lukeappleton I’m not ashamed of the cross, but neither do I need to wear how Jesus died on me as a show of faith. I’ve already been baptized as a show of my inner affinity to God so I don’t really see why wearing a cross is a show of faith. I don’t sew, so I have to wear what someone makes.

In the centre of the New Jerusalem is the tree of life. I wonder what shape that tree will be? People say that christians who wear a cross are wearing a torture device. No! We are alluding to the tree of life! Christ's sacrifice upon the tree!

Its great to discuss and debate theology on here. Or maybe with friends at a coffee shop. But when we are at Church, that is not a place to be debating divisive topics about minor doctrine. When we are at church unity is everything.

@lukeappleton I read what you posted. It's a straw man argument; nobody says the video changed their mind, but the content of it, which can include a lot of scripture. You're nitpicking like a Pharisee here.

Listen folks, 'i watched a youtube video and it changed my mind' is not acceptable theology. Not if you're interested in truth. The Holy Bible should be what changes your mind. Because its author isnt Ben in his basement, but the Holy Ghost Himself.

@lukeappleton The 144K are not "Jewish," they are 12K believers from 12 tribes of Israel, come down with Jesus from Heaven. Some may have been Jews, but Jew is not synonymous with all Israel or Hebrews. Saying ethnic Jews suddenly believe is a twisted Calvinism.

Think about dispensationalism. Do global events move us closer or further away from what dispensationalists claim about the last days?
