Initially, you called for an appeal to release the six Naga hostages held by Kuki militants. But today, when the six Naga were murdered and butchered by Kuki narco-terrorists and militants, you failed to even mention who the perpetrators were. We do not condone crocodile tears of sympathy.

I strongly and unequivocally condemn the brutal killing of six Naga civilians. This senseless act of violence is deeply disturbing and wholly unacceptable. What makes this tragedy even more heartbreaking is that it occurred despite the goodwill and sincere efforts extended by the United Naga Council (UNC) to create an atmosphere conducive to dialogue, reconciliation, and peaceful engagement. A gesture intended to build trust and foster understanding has instead been met with violence, resulting in the loss of innocent lives and immense suffering for their families and communities. I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and stand in solidarity with all those affected by this tragedy. There can be no justification for the taking of innocent lives. At this difficult moment, I urge all concerned to exercise restraint and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice. Lasting peace can only be built through mutual respect, dialogue, and a commitment to resolving differences through peaceful means rather than violence. Kukis thanking everyone else on earth except the Nagas for the release of 14 Kuki detainees, which was done with much difficulty, opposition, doubts, and risks. They don’t understand a good gesture, do they? They may never.
Never mind, Nagas took the lead with a clear conscience, regardless of how this goodwill would be reciprocated. That matters! If there is any comfort at all, it is that Nagas have done the right thing here.
