Interesting study that adds to emerging data: AVC is not binary for severe aortic stenosis and is influenced by annular size (etc). And furthermore, as others have demonstrated, AVC may be not be as useful in low flow states.

His appointment as WHO Regional Director for Africa would be tremendous for the African continent and help advance the cause of establishing advanced, equitable, and sustainable care.

Under his leadership at @TaasisiMoyoJKCI and via a collaborative training partnership with @madaktari, we successfully established the first public cardiac cath lab in Tanzania that now sustainably performed complex cardiac procedures.
