Former Secretary General, Sir Bruce Keogh, remarks on four decades of EACTS history. From launching leading journals to innovating with world-class educational opportunities, EACTS has continually evolved to address the needs of the global cardiothoracic community. Since 1986, EACTS has welcomed professionals from across the world to join us in advancing cardiothoracic surgery and improving patient outcomes. Sir Bruce Keogh said, “EACTS is no longer just an Association of surgeons. It’s grown into a global engine for patient safety, education and surgical excellence, and has a great future.” #40YearsofEACTS

The Endoscopic Port-Access Mitral Valve Repair Drylab Training, led by Course Director Peyman Sardari Nia, offers high-fidelity simulation in a fully replicated endoscopic port-access setting. Surgeons can refine advanced techniques in a realistic, feedback-driven environment. This Level 3 course is limited to 15 participants, who work in small groups across five simulators. Each group uses disposable valves that closely mimic real connective tissue, making the training focused and practical. The simulator gives objective feedback on stitch depth and length. This helps participants improve their precision, consistency and measurable progress. 📍 Maastricht, The Netherlands 🗓️ 11-12 May 2026 Register now ➡️ eacts.org/education/eact…
