🎥 Last year, Elina Chunikhovska, a medical student from Ukraine, was awarded a Pre-Trainee Annual Meeting Grant to attend the 2025 EACTS Annual Meeting. 🚨 Applications are open for the next Chair of the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EBCTS). The EBCTS oversees examinations in cardiac surgery, congenital surgery, and critical care as well as a new unified examination with the ESTS and UEMS in thoracic surgery. Several European countries now recognise these qualifications as official training exit exams. EACTS is looking for an experienced Chair who will help guide the continued development of these qualifications and assessments across Europe and beyond.
