@GHBSmith so if I can sell a single unpacked item to a vendor for say 60 pennies, how much more is it worth when packaged and traded?

How Does Trading Work In Crimson Desert?
Once unlocked via Greymane's story progress (requires Wagon and/or horse, with trading tutorial quest complete), players can participate in Trading.
Trading involves taking trade goods and selling them to make a profit.
There are two types of Trade Goods. Unpackaged and Packaged.
All trade goods found on enemies, looted from containers, or obtained via Dispatch missions are by default Unpackaged Trade Goods.
Unpackaged Trade goods can be sold by Kliff to black market vendors to make silver.
The only other use I've found is packaging them at camp, turning them into Packaged Trade Goods. This is done by donating the Unpackaged Trade Goods to Carl at camp, the packaging will cost Kliff a small amount of resources.
Packaged Trade Goods can be sold, in stacks of at least 25, to various trading locations around Pywel.
The closest location is Goldleaf Guildhouse, a short distance South East of Howling Hills camp.
The idea is to check these trading locations regularly (map, highlight trade location, inspect) to see which items they are selling for cheap or buying for high.
The buy & sell price rotates on an in-game weekly basis.
Players can either purchase these trade goods directly from trade outposts or can farm them from various Dispatch missions.
Selling Packaged Trade Goods is a great way of earning a lot of camp money quickly, but it can involve a lot of travelling.
Generally, the idea is to use this to bolster Howling Hills Camps finances, and then use those finances to boost Conversion Bonuses on Dispatch missions.
By donating camp funds to donation boxes, players can get 150%+ bonuses to Dispatch mission rewards.
Ultimately, if you plan to stick with Crimson Desert long past launch, dive into new content when it comes, maximizing the Conversion Bonus is probably worth the time and effort.
Otherwise, it's probably better just to farm defensive missions in Dispatch for cash.

@JasonR_EG that makes sense now, because I remember listening to the digital foundry podcast and John mentioned this, but I assumed he was talking about some other fast travel that I hadn't discovered yet 🤣
English

One of the best examples of how Crimson Desert has improved (pre-launch vs. launch build + patches) is the Howling Hill camp teleporter.
Pre-launch = The closest was near the player housing and that required a side quest + ability to unlock.
Launch = Teleporter at the camp

Jason Rodriguez@JasonR_EG
@VodkaGreece Example 1: We didn’t have a camp fast travel back then. For several hours, we had no choice but to skydive over and over to do Greymane quests. Then @GHBSmith discovered a teleporter plate, but it was part of a totally unrelated side quest. Now you have a teleporter in the camp.

@lofi_lover0930 I like the variety, but for pure efficiency it's better just to spam heavy attack. a lot of the combat moves end up pushing enemies back, forcing you to chase them down which gets annoying. id rather there be an ability to cluster them together so I can rip into them.
English

One of my favorite things about Crimson Desert combat is the mixing up
Like you can mix attacking with weapons with throwing hands, then grapple moves, to force palm, to bow, changing your weapon, more hands, vaulting, attacking, sliding, grapple move, hands, back to weapon etc.

Details (+): Force of Nature - Fearless The combat feels so weighty with realistically fluid animations. Superb 👾: Crimson Desert

Who is paying $1,000 dollars on a tv?
Saken@sakenexe
$900 to play $70 games on a $1000 TV with $100 headphones. gaming is a rich people hobby now
English

@Joseph_Witty I never had enough food. I've just gotten my camp at howling hill, does that produce food or have farming?
English

@NikTek so you're also using that sword? same lol. I could do with a new weapon now.
English

@AtomfallGame yano what, I'd love that hoodie. I wish you were giving away those b.a.r.d mugs.

today's sketch retweetet

@samekire @Gibboanxious I like film grain, it's just very intense in some movies and actually gets in the way.
English

@mark_bril @Gibboanxious Grain is an inherent characteristic of movies shot on film. That's just how it is. It can be removed digitally, but it drastically alters the image.
English

@MtrHrse @Gibboanxious nope, I'm genuinely new to buying 4k blu rays.
English

@hisugarfoxx did you hear him in the last duel, he'd need lots of vocal coaching.
English

@Just_Melon48 @meloneslada well the obvious comparison is assassin's creed. that franchise has only gotten worse over time, and although they do have some cool mechanics, most of the gameplay gets very repetitive fast.
English

@mark_bril @meloneslada If you only play crap games and ignore the good ones then sure
English

why does everyone talk about this game like its the first video game they’ve ever played

Duvido que o jornalistinha que deu 4,5 pegou jetpack 😂 Jogo foda

@madcap412 I get the rest, but what did people have an issue with in regards to horizon forbidden west? did they make aloy a little butch or something?
English

@GenePark unfortunately ive found that despite how many different combat abilities I've unlocked, I'm still reduced to using light attack and heavy attack over and over. most animated attacks take too long, leave you open to attack, and push enemies back, making you have to run after them.
English

@CrimsonDesert_ on pc the photo mode is broken. I dunno if it was fixed in the latest update.

English

Did you take any nice screenshots yet?
