A critique of Nick Bostrom's--I don't know how else to put it--incredibly dumb new paper in favor of artificial superintelligence. His conclusion is atrocious, dangerous, callous, arrogant, and genocidal, & his argument is patently flawed. I explain why below:

A new Banksy - a subtle one. A theory - that Banksy is actually a collective of artists who sprung up around Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack. Del Naja's early graffiti art is very Bansky-esque & is on record as having "inspired Banksy". Banksy is also "a close friend".

Is #Pluribus actually about AI? In episode 5, when Carol speaks to Larry about her books, the responses are maddeningly generic. When he/they says her work is equal to that of Shakespeare, it's almost exactly what AI could/would say to a person looking for affirmation.

RIP Ozzy. We did 3 episodes on Sabbath at the start of the year, one of which was an interview with Aron Ward, Bill's son. Those first 6 Sabbath albums are pure magic. Loved digging in to them. Thanks for the tunes and the chaos. Here's a photo of him feeding pigeons in Glasgow.
