My portfolio is live! I designed and developed a landing page in @webflow, animated with @greensock, and structured using @finsweet's Client-First to showcase my work. It's a simple, clean space that reflects both my design and development style. Since many of the best projects I’ve worked on are under NDA or done "white-label" in collaboration with other professionals and agencies, the links to current projects will be updated soon. The portfolio will continue to evolve as I add more projects, the goal is to keep it real and highlight work I’m truly proud of. Excited for what’s ahead as I keep refining my craft and delivering more value through my designs. [🔗 Link in the first comment]

Becoming a @webflow Developer opened a career path I hadn’t fully imagined before. Yesterday I joined a live session with the Horizontes community (from Brazil 🇧🇷), led by @BrunoCorazza , where we talked about becoming a Webflow Developer and building an international career. Hearing the questions from people in the community made me remember when I was at the beginning of this path, trying to understand what was actually possible. What I’ve learned over time is that sometimes a tool can be the starting point for something much bigger. You begin by learning how to build websites, and little by little you realize that the skills you’re developing can connect you to opportunities far beyond where you started. For many people, Webflow can be more than just a tool to learn. It can be the doorway to a completely different professional path, especially if you’re willing to keep exploring where it might take you.

@mattvidal_dev @webflow This is the foundation of scalable design systems. Variables aren't just about convenience - they're about maintaining design consistency when teams grow. Same principle applies in code: constants over magic numbers, design tokens over hardcoded values.

Most design problems start appearing once a project needs to change. In my @webflow projects, one practice that consistently protects the structure is the heavy use of variables. Instead of hardcoding spacing, typography, or color values across dozens of elements, I define them once and let the system reference them everywhere else. What looks like a small setup decision at the beginning quickly becomes structural support as the project grows. Variables shift the mindset from styling pages to defining rules. When spacing scales, color adjustments, or typographic refinements inevitably happen, the change happens at the system level instead of through scattered manual fixes. The build stays coherent because the logic behind it remains centralized. Design tends to look static on the surface, but in practice it’s always evolving. And the projects that age well are usually the ones where the flexibility was designed into the foundation from the start.

To all the vibecoders out there, I’m begging you: CHECK👏YOUR👏WORK👏 And if you don’t know how to code yet, now is a good time to learn.

> be @NotionHQ > ship vibe coded slop "Night Shift" Custom Agents feature > completely break app for loyal users > throw users into Cloudflare human verification loop purgatory > physically cannot even log into accounts anymore > every page is completely broken, data not loading at all > getting hit with 429 Too Many Requests errors ON LOGIN craft in software is dead 💔🥀 Notion used to be one of the premier software companies in design and taste, that is no longer the case sad day today @ivanhzhao @akothari

OFF+BRAND.@itsoffbrand

Site of the Year & Users Choice at @awwwards. We’re still processing this one. To win against so many incredible studios and projects is a true honour. Massive thank you to Lando and his team at @wearegrip for the trust, to our incredible team who poured everything into this project, and to the entire Awwwards community for the support from day one. This is just the start. 🫶
