Last week: “NFTs are dead” This week: “NFTs are back” Either way... it doesn't matter. My NFTs are always green. I couldn't care less about price. I'm not here to trade. I'm a collector. That's the narrative I push inside and outside Web3. And hand on heart... the IRL collectors I spend time with don't care about NFTs. Not because NFTs are bad. Because their first experience with them is. Or their first impression. What they heard in the news, or the stigma they carry. Here's the uncomfortable truth: We preach about decentralisation. But what we actually need is a layer of the opposite. Not full centralisation. Better rails. Because until: ~ onboarding is seamless ~ ownership feels safe ~ risk feels near zero We're just trading amongst ourselves. Mass adoption wont come from ideology. It'll come from making NFTs feel normal and right now... they don't. At least not to traditional collectors.

Listen guys. I’ve flown in and out of LGA more times than I can count. There was nothing “out of the ordinary” going on. I even recognized the controllers voice. He’s a rockstar. And that’s on top of the fact that LGA is not an easy facility to get into as a controller. Apex of the career type stuff. I’m not saying this is what happened. But what it ‘sounds like….’ Is that the truck was a little sluggish on the crossing clearance. Then the controller realized the truck was slow as his attention was diverted momentarily dealing with the United “emergency” and tried to stop the truck from crossing…. Who it seems like was probably distracted on their own accord listening to multiple frequencies and trying to figure out what they were responding to. **I don’t know** where the a/c was as far as energy state.. this is likely going to be a critical detail. The flight crew CAN go around (abort the landing) until they can’t. Some of the passengers have recounted a firm touchdown before the impact with the truck. Which would mean that the aircraft was on rollout and likely [as is normal in LGA] they would’ve deployed the reversers almost immediately. You CAN go around, until the reversers come out. Long and short of it… like all accidents. It’s almost never JUST 1 thing. I WILL say that accidents like these are in some morbid way a testament to how safe air travel has become. Similar to the DCA accident with the Blackhawk. SO many things went sideways in such a short time span that the circumstances left virtually no time for ANYONE to react. And they’ll find a fix for this. ***Unpopular Opinion*** This is gonna make one hell of an incident study. My heart goes out to the families of the crew. This one gave even my wife a pause.
