From age 4 to 17, I was raised in the deep south of Georgia. The racism I encountered there was severe, traumatic, and deeply harmful. I saw KKK meetings on Halloween outside the courthouse, where they spewed hateful shit. I was chased by rednecks with Confederate flags. My experience with racism was far more intense than mere memes or small comments....actual lynchings happened not far from where I lived. And just to be clear I'm not trying to dismiss how you feel I'm just letting you know that I'm not on the same page when it comes to what is racist or not.

It goes deeper. Informint has a platform. And he's spreading racism. His viewers are exposed to desensitization. Whether he's trying to or not he's molding people's minds to think 1) racism is ok and we should have a laugh about it. 2) Hispanics (mexicans) are dirty and they just eat tacos and wear ponchos. Its not shallow you have too look deeper than peoples words. what are they doing, and what does it cuase.

However, I mean real racists who actually commit physical or financial harm to those they target... I don't see any harm caused to the Hispanic community by that meme Informint created. I haven't seen the meme or segment you mentioned, but if it's just a meme, I wouldn't overthink it... Still, I understand that racism is very sensitive today, especially among younger people. But.... And on top of making the photo he made a segment in his live stream about it. Making fun. It's not cool to overlook stuff like that and make excuses that's how it continues. And then trying to say he's not a bad guy is just encouraging the racism to grow. Other ppl will think it's okay

It's different for our gen, Booth. Not sure what happened with Informint, but he's my age, and we sometimes say pretty wild shit without meaning them. Back then words didn't mean much unless they were fighting words. We grew up watching Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and many others who sometimes said the wildest racist jokes that were funny, even when my people were 'attacked.' I'm not excusing racism, but I believe people label things as racist too easily these days. Much respect to you, Booth , but We haven't been in this space long enough to actually know who people really are.
