📢This Global Week for Action on NCDS, civil society is urging governments to take the #LeadOnNCDs and step up investments to tackle the world’s leading health challenge - NCDs at the #HLM4 & beyond! 📚Recently, we released a new report, “Delivering on Health and Financial Protection for All: Government Spending on Essential NCD Medicines and Services”, developed by a team of researchers at @UW, exposing the glaring gap in NCD investment. 💰According to the report, to achieve universal coverage and provide financial protection for a package of 13 essential NCD primary healthcare interventions, countries should aim to spend 1.1% to 1.7% of gross national income.
