Today the SDLP brought forward a motion in the assembly for the delivery of a 24/7 thrombectomy Service. A thrombectomy, which is a surgery which removes a blood clot from the brain, is only available in Northern Ireland between 8am and 5pm each day. Aileen Moynagh reports

Thanks very much to 98-year-old Pauline Grills and her family who have put together a calendar to raise money for the Stroke Association 💜👏 Pauline had a stroke in 2024. She continues to play golf, badminton and loves open water swimming.

Our Speech and Language Therapist Sharon and Service Delivery Lead Róisín had a great day yesterday visiting the Cookstown stroke support group 💜 The group meets every Tuesday from 10.30-12.30pm. It's a great place for stroke survivors to come together for support.
