The BorisWave was a deliberate decision taken by Tory ministers - following advice from the unaccountable Migration Advisory Committee. The country witnessed an explosion in entry visas and visa extensions awarded to low-wage and low-skilled individuals from outside Europe.

560,000 people were granted Indefinite Leave to Remain between 2022 and 2025. Just 21% were main applicants on a work visa. We cannot afford to continue down this road.
