I worked in finance for 10 years. And here is what I believe Trump is doing. The announcement of Trump’s global tariffs is the first step in financial market manipulation. And while it shouldn’t be, it may even be legal. I predict Trump will begin to cancel these tariffs when stock values fall low enough, and this will cause stock prices to rise again. Why is he doing this? So that Musk and other billionaires can be guaranteed to buy stocks low, and sell them when tariffs are cancelled, selling them when prices rise again. This is classic market manipulation, and guess what Trump voters. This will tear your 401k to shreds - because YOU are not privy to such information. Is this insider information? It sure as hell looks like it.
