USA won against Australia and Paraguay, football dwarfs.
But lost against washed Belgium, Germany and Portugal recently. No chance.
Every match against a bit of a good team they lost.
Little do Americans know about football and how strong or weak they actually are.

I’m not even exaggerating, USA might win this world cup.
English

@durty3417 @HausenKS At the most 70%, and still won and didn't present an own goal!
English

The US could not hang with France or Germany. Normally I would have a couple more on this list but so far those teams forgot the World Cup started. 😎
Erik@OverEHill
Serious question for knowledgeable soccer fans. Is there any country you have seen play so far in the World Cup that you think no way the US team could hang with?
English

@durty3417 @HausenKS Hung with a team that played with jet lag and tested a lot due to recent Karl injury. They played 70%.

Funny how all of a sudden teams like Paraguay and Australia aren’t good after they lose to the US
Felipe Cárdenas@FelipeCar
@SoccerforUSPod Yes, against Australia.
English

@danielren123 @JayHrndz2 No , they were in drawing pot 1 together with the other hosts and the top nations, which is why they don't have any big teams in their group. They were supposed to win the group!
English

@JayHrndz2 The whole narrative before the World Cup was how USA was gonna finish last now it’s the other teams aren’t good
English

@FootballSpot__ @JayHrndz2 Paraguy is a home team, the had only one away win in the entire qualifying stage!
English

@JayHrndz2 Same Australia that got hyped for beating Turkey and same Paraguay that beat Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and barely conceded goals in WCQ.
They’re not bad teams, we made them look bad.
English

Uruguay and Ghana are not easy teams at all. Could easily lose those.

Bro look at our route to the semifinals right now 🫣

“USA is only winning because they have an easy group.”
I don’t know about you, but I think that argument is a bit unfair.
Before the tournament, when the U.S. was set to play Paraguay, a lot of people were saying they would struggle because Paraguay are defensively solid and don't give teams much room to score. Then, heading into the Australia match, I kept hearing that Australia would make life difficult for the United States. To be fair, there were a few moments toward the end where the U.S. looked a little shaky, but they still kept a clean sheet, and scored two goals.
In fact, out of all three host nations, many people argued before the World Cup started that the United States had the toughest group. And if we've learned anything from the first week of this tournament, it's that there really is no such thing as an "easy group." Even some of the teams considered favorites to win the World Cup have found themselves struggling against opponents that many expected them to beat comfortably.
That just proves that every game requires you to be 100% focused and find a way to get the job done.
I'm not saying the U.S. are the best team in the world. They still have a long way to go and plenty of areas to improve. But you have to give this team credit. They've won their first two matches and have played some entertaining football. They have done exactly what good teams are supposed to do.
You can only beat who's in front of you, and so far, the United States have done just that.
English

@realwickedbrew @EverythingRebs They only won one game away in the qualifying, they are a home team and suck when they don't play home.
English

I need the soccer fans to help me out here
Is this USA team really good, or is our group easy compared to other groups? (Or maybe both?)
Regardless, these first two games have been fun 🇺🇸

USA ADVANCE TO THE ROUND OF 32 😤 They clinch a spot in the knockout round after beating Australia 2-0 ☕
English

@BenMikell_FW @EverythingRebs They were favorite to win, it was a normal result
English

@Asensiazo Non of the players would make it in to tge starting 11 in a big team!
English

@YucciMane Only of they keep playing against teams like Australia and Paraguay
