Bro 😭 that is insane Türkiye have the best squad on paper in this group but they cannot handle pressure at all, the way they were escorted to the airport 100 million with huge hopes after 24 years it was too much for them sadly, as always. Gutted for my Turkish friends.

Weston McKennie is 3x the player he used to be.
I’ve watched him a few times this season, and he was so impressive for Juventus.
Always had the potential but you can see how hard he’s worked to mature his game.

I can’t speak for the entire country, but I can speak for my own backyard.
My baseball-obsessed 7 year old hasn’t ever so much as touched a soccer ball in his life and now he’s spending his evenings out here pretending he’s Flo Balogun.
I don’t think it’s possible to overstate the impact this World Cup will have on this sport’s popularity in America.

@MoMohler It's no about athletes we've always been one of the athletic teams it's about tactical technical development which is what we are lacking. Our system would have left a guy like Modric behind because he's not fast enough strong enough big enough athletic enough.

American soccer fans, particularly those who watch the MLS, are overwhelmingly left-leaning. This includes USMNT supporters. I am not sure of many other (if any) soccer/football federations who go to these efforts to be inclusive. The fans are overwhelmingly behind it and the federation encourages it.
