@durty3417 @HausenKS Losing in a friendly to a team that isn’t even trying while you play your heart out isn’t really “hanging”
English

The US could not hang with France or Germany. Normally I would have a couple more on this list but so far those teams forgot the World Cup started. 😎
Erik@OverEHill
Serious question for knowledgeable soccer fans. Is there any country you have seen play so far in the World Cup that you think no way the US team could hang with?

@CFCAnalytic Every year at Juve
Media- new manager incoming and Wes will likely be sold
The manager by mid season- we cannot live without Weston

@durty3417 @HausenKS Hung with a team that played with jet lag and tested a lot due to recent Karl injury. They played 70%.

I can’t speak for the entire country, but I can speak for my own backyard.
My baseball-obsessed 7 year old hasn’t ever so much as touched a soccer ball in his life and now he’s spending his evenings out here pretending he’s Flo Balogun.
I don’t think it’s possible to overstate the impact this World Cup will have on this sport’s popularity in America.

@BFordLancer @JarradHD 12 hours a day driving, you can do it. Tough but the journey is the destination. Enjoy!

Are we crazy for this?
Just left USA 🇺🇸 vs. AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 in Seattle…
Now we have 3.5 days to drive to Houston for the PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 vs. UZBEKISTAN 🇺🇿 match…

Seattle, WA 🇺🇸 English

@seattletimes Nothing is more American than disliking and distrusting the government. We've lost that
English

Some Seattle soccer fans have mixed feelings about patriotically backing the U.S. team during the FIFA Men's World Cup, given the actions of President Donald Trump. #Echobox=1781802264-2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">seattletimes.com/seattle-news/w…

@fernandopalomo Somos millones de latinos viviendo en USA . No creo que los gringos sean un porcentaje alto dentro de esos 16 millones .

@JackDunc1 So if a ton of Americans showed up in another country and just shit on every little thing about it that would make the host devisive correct
English

@MoMohler It's no about athletes we've always been one of the athletic teams it's about tactical technical development which is what we are lacking. Our system would have left a guy like Modric behind because he's not fast enough strong enough big enough athletic enough.
English

This might be true, but: Americans who drape themselves in the red white and blue are usually MAGA, and it feels too much like I’m one of them if I do
Sumeet 🇺🇸@flameosumeet
American soccer fans, particularly those who watch the MLS, are overwhelmingly left-leaning. This includes USMNT supporters. I am not sure of many other (if any) soccer/football federations who go to these efforts to be inclusive. The fans are overwhelmingly behind it and the federation encourages it.

@jarvis_best Chicago is not even top 10 murder rate in the country where do ppl get their information lol

I’d rather crawl through an entire football field of broken glass and dog shit than root for Christian Pulisic

Yes, being American… living in the USA and rooting against the USMNT 🇺🇸 in the World Cup is a bit pathetic. But do whatever you want I guess, it’s your right.
