Delhi High Court is witnessing a refreshing shift in courtroom discipline—Justice Kaurav’s court stands out as a benchmark. Swift disposals, zero tolerance for non-compliance, and a sharp SLP-style approach. While I was waiting for my matter, a DDA matter came up, absence of counter led the Court to direct personal appearance of the Vice Chairman, counsel somehow turns up—with a clear warning, court says counter in 3 days or VC personal appearence otherwise he faces arrest warrants. Practising in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court carries a renewed sense of purpose—and pride.
