This is the story of courage which I derive from meeting many girls and women in rural India and how it carved a new meaning in my purpose of life: Fighting for reproductive health rights @BarefootCollege @barefootmfc @DrGluckClinic #menstruationmatters @StoryPicker @YourStoryCo
Aspen Ideas@aspenideas

After a Ph.D., @monabfc10 wanted to do something more meaningful with her work. She ended up completely changing attitudes towards menstruation in rural India by focusing on women’s health education. @AspenNewVoices aspenideas.org/sessions/undau… #AspenIdeasHealth

A new star rises in Indian para archery!! Odisha’s Payal Nag defeats reigning world champion Sheetal Devi to win GOLD at the World Archery Para Series 2026 in Bankok. Payal is the world’s first archer to compete without any limbs. She lost all four limbs in an electrocution accident during childhood. India is proud. Odisha is proud. 🙏🔥 🎥 World Archery

Government doesn’t care for us, rich are paying ₹4000-5000 for gas and eating, we can’t pay. I left my 1 day work to collect wood so that I can cook and my family can eat. — A migrant worker from BJP double engine ruled Bihar working in 3 engine ruled Delhi

Apocalyptic economic fallout. NHK confirms Trump's disastrous war has completely paralyzed India's massive textile industry. With 90% of their LPG imports choked off at the Strait of Hormuz, HALF A MILLION workers just lost their jobs. The global supply chain is collapsing.

"Youth angry over poor civic sense." 😡 He was peacefully walking on the footpath, but a large number of bikers kept honking at him to move aside for an easy pass. When will people in India understand that the footpath is for pedestrians, not bikes?

⚠️👋A helpless woman, exhausted with a patient, breaks down & tears forms outside AIIMS. Across much of North, not a single major govt hospital has been built in the last 12 yrs to handle critical illness. Because we vote for temples, not healthcare.

Hello @AshwiniVaishnaw was this content also AI generated and deep fake? This reel where this young girl told the truth about universities offering incentives to students for attending Modi’s Airport Inaugral speech in Jewar, was withheld in India. What’s the defence for this?

"Why are Indian rivers so dirty?" The Shipra River in Ujjain remains heavily polluted despite the govt mixing Narmada water and spending crores on cleaning. Puja offerings are floating in the river. When will people wake up & stop this nonsense?

His name was Manjunath Shanmugam. He was an IIM Lucknow graduate. He got a job with Indian Oil Corporation as a sales officer. His territory was Uttar Pradesh. He found that petrol pump dealers were adulterating fuel and cheating customers. He reported it. He sealed the pumps. On November 19 2005 a petrol pump owner shot him dead outside his office. He was 27 years old. The killers were convicted. Sentenced to life imprisonment. His parents did not get compensation for 15 years. His college created the Manjunath Shanmugam Trust in his name to fight corruption. Some men die because they refused to look the other way. India forgets them too quickly.

"Hello Indian Railway, are you alive?" Look at Bikramganj Railway Station in Bihar, where a bridge is standing on steel pillars with its nuts loose. If any incident occurs, who will be responsible? Broad daylight corruption. Railway Minister ji, won't you make reel here?

Is it a first? A nursing graduate becoming the health minister? Usually, it is doctors who get to hold such powerful positions Will it make a difference in health policy when it’s framed by a nurse? Will Nepal’s health policy reflect the difference?
