If you want a rare life, you have to be delusional. Doubt can enter your mind, and it can sound reasonable, but if you entertain it too much it will slowly drag you down into stagnation. I'd rather reap the lesson from massive failure than do nothing because it's not "realistic."

If the law states requirements and eligibility for a permit, should the executive be allowed to deny permits that meet these criteria? If you were issued a permit and are meeting all compliance requirements, why should the executive be able to summarily revoke it? For a long time I have heard from conservatives or the right wing in general that permitting and such is "too much government." That it's red tape, it's beauracracy. But here we have an example of possible executive overreach DENYING a permit, and yet you think the JUDGE is in the wrong?

We often think the Christian life depends on how tightly we can hold on. But Scripture points us elsewhere.
There are moments when we are too weak to cling. Faith feels small, strength feels gone, and all we can do is fall. But even that is enough, because our hope is not in our grip on Christ, but in His grip on us. “My sheep hear My voice… and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:27-28).
It is not our strength that secures us, but His faithfulness. “He who began a good work in us will perfect it” (Philippians 1:6).
So even when we cannot stand, we fall upon Him. And we find that He was already holding us.
That is where our hope rests. Not in our ability to hold Him, but in His power to hold us.

@girlmeetsNG Just try to remember that appending "please" is actually shorthand for "if you please," which is of course more polite because you're giving the person the opportunity to say no! You can phrase this all sorts of ways with phrases like "would you mind" or "could you," etc.
