On 11/4/24 at 11:46AM, Monument Police Officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident at 765 W Baptist Rd. Once there, officers located a deceased individual. The investigation is ongoing. If you witnessed anything, please contact MPD at 719-481-3253

Monument Fire District is providing a Type 1 engine on a 72-hour surge request to the Quarry Fire, Jefferson County.

With the wildfire season kicking into high gear across the Western US, Monument Fire District is committed to providing resources where needed, while ensuring adequate resources here at home.

MFD is assisting Palmer Lake Fire with a single-family dwelling fire this morning.
