Yeah this is some weird British humility bullshit on Assad's part :) He's an immensely skilled, deliberate (and magnetic) actor.

@nbargamian1 @moscotweets I think Aussies are like that too, no? We're down-to-earth, pile tons of compliments on others all day and tend to shuck all our magnificence to one side and say "No wuzzah mate..." and thumbs up.

Been thinking about this moment when my generally fearless 8 year old son came to the #IWTV set & met Delainey & Assad & Jacob in their vampire eyes & said hi & chatted. Sam Reid asked to meet him - my son backed away, looked shook. I asked why & he said - "He's a vampire".
