@KingGary1234 @MrWayneGarton That huddle in the middle of the pitch whilst waiting for the whistle to go elsewhere seemed to last ages.
English

@MrWayneGarton Yep! Went all the way to the last game. The 30 seconds of elation between Grealish’s goal and the West Ham equaliser 😂😂😂
English

@LeeAndersonMP_ What? Having the confidence to speak truth to power? Not being afraid of using their voice? Good on her and them.

@daphneh236 @Channel4News Perhaps ask the press why they’ve decided to follow them there? Also, why is being a UK tax payer relevant? They’re in Oz.
English

@Channel4News If this is a private visit why are the press & media there ? Just asking as a U.K. taxpayer

@RosaPetrovna @Eyeswideopen69 I seem to recall a lot of projects in Wales also concerned about the loss of funding too.
English

@mrso82 @Eyeswideopen69 Thank you for that.🙂 I thought it was, but wasn't absolutely certain. I do recall the Eden Project being mentioned; perhaps that was the institution about to lose its funding.
English

@RosaPetrovna @Eyeswideopen69 It was Cornwall. Who I believe voted in the majority to leave the EU
English

@Eyeswideopen69 Precisely. After the Brexit vote, I remember a council, Yorkshire or Cornwall, I think, screaming that 'the government MUST replace the development funds we'll lose from Brussels NOW!' For some, it seems the vote was to leave, ignore Brussels' rules but keep Brussels' benefits.

@mrso82 If Vance goes back to see his handler for Putin in Moscow he will accidentally fall out a 9th floor window so good has his performances in Hungary n Pakistan
English

You’d think he be able to read a room by now wouldn’t you? Who on earth would still publicly align themselves with Vance?

Great to catch up with my friend @JDVance today in DC following his talks in Pakistan. It is vital that the ceasefire continues and we get shipping flowing freely again through the Straits of Hormuz. We continue to work together towards a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
English

@Russ_Ian_Bribe @SangitaMyska No, we accept that there still has to be an element of diplomatic work, given their roles. That said, posting on social media about it and calling him ‘friend’ is tone deaf. Just put out a post from his department confirming that a meeting took place.
English

@SangitaMyska This labour bashing is madness, is he supposed to act like a child and refuse to talk to them ? Are Iran weak for entering talks the other day ?
English

This post is entirely tone deaf from Labour. And in the context of the local elections, it couldn’t be much worse.

@NicolaPartridg2 Unfortunately, yes, but I’m at the point where I think that unless ‘they’ see/hear/feel it for themselves, they will never learn. It of course means that we’ll suffer alongside them. I wish I thought they would change their views without this happening.
English

@NicolaPartridg2 I get the need for the balancing act (and potential consequences of getting it wrong). Hope you get an outcome you are ok with.
English

@mrso82 Thank you Mrs O. I’m just as grateful for the virtual support! As with many things, it’s the lack of common sense, joined-up thinking and poor processes that are so head-bangingly painful. Or, if I was being less business-like, I’d say neglectful but that puts us in hot water.
English

@SmithLovelace @GPDecorating I genuinely don’t get the ‘he’s now shit and it’s because he wants out’ argument. Surely if you want out, you’d be playing out of your skin to put yourself in the shop window?
English

@MrWayneGarton Not sure about bankrupt, but not doing well and having to increase council tax when they said they wouldn’t.
English

@mrso82 Easy to talk “policies” when you never in a situation to actually implement them. Aren’t 2 of the reform led councils virtually bankrupt?

English

@meralhece @miffythegamer @ShelaghFogarty Why would LBC sack her when she’s delivering exactly what they want her to deliver
English

She should be sacked. Vile. @ShelaghFogarty
Hussain “Hoz” Shafiei@HussainShafiei
An absolutely nasty piece of work.

@NicolaPartridg2 They’ll be sacking some poor groundsman now as opposed to taking some accountability for the result.
English

They are unreal. 😂
The email never mentioned the pitch prep.
