I know there's more space in Australia but as best I can tell, every home ground from the 1994 Winfield Cup is still in use, either as a local community asset or as a redeveloped mega super stadium. Here it's carparks, Tescos, ASDAs and cheap housing. Light and day.

From a quick search, it's been 30 years since a golf book won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year prize (John Feinstein's Good Walk Spoiled). Together We Roared is being read and it'd be a dream simply to be longlisted or shortlisted, let alone win.
