@PamBelluck Thank you for covering this! It does, however, feel like you are playing into the anti-abortion trope that abortion and miscarriage care are somehow different. A d & c is an abortion, it will say so on any medical record.

Some methods for treating miscarriage are the same as those for abortion, and in states with strict abortion laws some miscarriage patients are facing hurdles getting care. I'm grateful to those who shared their experiences to help tell this story. nytimes.com/2022/07/17/hea…
