Being a city in a county through re-entry isn't all bad, if and only if the people want it. We're in four counties after all, including Jackson County where our pop'n exceeds StL City. The long-term goal has to be regional growth for all in a vital region for Missouri's future.

“Faced with the Council’s budget cuts and forced to reduce services, one path forward is to find more ways to consolidate key city and county services. The city could even re-enter the county as a municipality. That actually has a lot of political support."

KC is about to open another expansion of its streetcar line. This one will go along the riverfront to the new KC Current Stadium.

Working on a story about traffic/pedestrian issues in STL and focusing on Gravois Ave. near Morganford and Delor as MODOT plans improvements for 2029. This 20 seconds pretty much sums up the walking experience through that intersection and many others in the city.
