The march in London has exposed a grave and growing extremism problem. No decent or peaceful person waves the flag of an Iranian regime stained with the blood of tens of thousands. It evokes the Blackshirts marching for Mosley in the 1930s.

I know a girl who has made the seamless transition from the Labour Party to supporting the Greens and everything they stand for. She’s anti-Israel, anti-capitalist, she hates the Tories and Reform, and thinks border controls are racist. You name it, she’s in. But I also happen to know that she lives in a nice flat in an expensive area, has amazing holidays and meals out….and she never pays for any of it. She’s more than happy to let others fund it all (with not the slightest interest in how they have had to earn that money). I guess that makes her the epitome of the modern socialist.

Or that only 5% or so of the motions currently being debated by Green Members have anything to do with the environment? So yes, the radical Islamists have played an absolute blinder.

Though I think that's a dumb thing to do, the point of the march was to bring people together from across the political spectrum against the British far right. There's inevitably gonna be people with views you disagree with and that's OK. Otherwise we remain divided.
