I wonder how much longer it will take before Left-leaning voters start to realise that the Conservatives under Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt were actually the centrists they really wanted? And that they have stupidly ousted them for something far, far worse?

@wesstreeting @jtworr Funding for the NHS has doubled within 20 years, with no measurable improvements in health outcomes. I’d call that broken. And it’s going to take more than fine words to fix it.

Last night @jtworr sat and peddled the idea that our NHS is broken beyond repair. His solution? A system that would leave patients paying through the nose for even the most basic appointments. My solution? Rebuilding the NHS, so that it's always there for us when we need it.

Iran executed the 19-year-old champion, Saleh Mohammadi for protesting the Khamenei regime. Nothing from Greta Thunberg, Gary Lineker, Charlotte Church, sectarian Muslim politicians. No hunger strikes on University campuses. Where have all the “human rights” activists gone?

The kids privacy is out the window. Things are getting bad it seems and it won’t be long until they’re fully monetizing the children and showing their faces for a paycheck. Also, is this not the most fake and contrived thing ever, especially in that picture of her looking at Lili? 🤨

I’m proud of our tolerant and diverse country. I’m proud that in Trafalgar Square we celebrate all faiths. That’s British values. The comments from Nick Timothy are shameful. Kemi Badenoch should do the right thing and sack him.

This is quite possibly the worst PMQs I have ever seen. Keir Starmer REFUSES answer a single question about Peter Mandelson and blatantly keeps changing the subject. This man has no place being Prime Minister. He should be in prison. It's SO BAD I had to post the whole thing.

📰DON'T LET THESE STORIES DISAPPEAR📰 The sudden shift into war in Iran and the geopolitics that naturally flows from it, has given Keir Starmer a reprieve from the massive stack of stories that have not been answered and should have ended his premiership. Don't let them be forgotten! Make sure you share this list far and wide! 1. Why was it fine for the Labour Chancellor Rachel Reeves to break the law, what happened to lawbreakers cannot be lawmakers? 2. Why was it fine for the Labour Deputy PM David Lammy to mislead Parliament over violent foreign offenders being accidentally released from prison at an alarming rate? 3. Why was it fine for the Labour Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy, to appoint a Labour and personal donor into a position of power? 4. Why did the electoral commission choose to not investigate further over them being misled on £750k donations to Labour Together? 5. Why did three Ukrainian male models firebomb Keir Starmer's house? 6. Why was Labour Chief Whip Nick Brown suspended in September 2022 with no explanation at all? 7. Why was the Chinese spy case allowed to be dropped when there was sufficient evidence to proceed? 8. Why was Starmer able to avoid tax on his parent's donkey sanctuary land? 9. Why did China think they were given illegal assurances that their mega-embassy would be built? 10. Why the government seemed performatively upset about the Israeli football fan ban when they were told about it over a week in advance? 11. Why was was fine for Covid rules to be regularly breached for Starmer to have in-person vocal coaching? 12. Why was it fine for Starmer and family to move to Lord Alli's flat during Covid lockdowns, without any claims for the benefit? 13. Why are the assailants of the police at Manchester airport *still* free? 14. Why the Labour government continue give away the Chagos islands, when there was and is no legal case for doing so? 15. Why the Labour government gave away £12 Billion worth of fishing access to the EU, for merely the promise to negotiate further concessions in the future? 16. Why the Labour government are not held to account for the lie of the £22bn black hole, when the OBR stated very clearly at the time that such a hole did not exist? 17. Who knew what about links to Jeffrey Epstein when Peter Mandelson was appointed to his role in the US? 18. Why hasn’t the Grooming Gang Inquiry been set up yet? 19. Did Sadiq Khan cover up the existence of grooming gangs in London?

It remains one of my strongest experiences of life that the most enthusiastic supporters of these ‘progressive’ leftwing parties always live in nice areas, are financially comfortable, and have little to no clue what life is like for people living in the more deprived parts of the country. Not of course that that stops them from lecturing those same people on what they should think.

Wonderful. Darren Jones has been community noted for saying Digital ID will be "voluntary". He's lying. They are forcing people to sign up through the back door or face prosecution. This is why Labour hate X. They can't tell lies on this platform. I utterly despise them.

If you take away all the accusations of ‘misogyny’ etc, I believe this was ultimately about being seen as anti-establishment. It’s a message that says ‘we’re not like the men in grey suits who came before’. I’m not saying it’s right, but bearing in mind younger people’s experience of politics in the last couple of decades, you can absolutely see why it might appeal to them.
Falcon Malteser@Falcon_Malteser

I felt chastised last night and thought hmm probably a bit of misogyny from me, I should reflect Well I've slept on it and nope, she is dressed like an ACTUAL CLOWN, look at that top, it is like Mr Tumble on acid crossed with a fresh tub of neopolitan ice cream

1,200 people crossed the Channel in small boats last week. Each costs £41,000 a year. So that’s an extra £50 million burden on the taxpayer in their first year alone. Just from one week.

You can have a personality and still look appropriate for the occasion. This was a deliberate choice. Maybe it is as simple as I’ve just been told in a reply: it gets attention. And in this age of social media - never mind results or workable policies - that’s what will count when it comes to voting day.

Have you ever watched reality television show ‘Snog Marry Avoid’? I asked @grok to do a POD style makeunder, and dress Hannah Spencer in a simple white blouse and black pencil skirt, and smarten up her hair. Anyone who thinks her presentation is irrelevant should take a look. She dresses like a child for a reason. That concerns me.

@K453535 @Steven_Swinford Well of course, and we are supposed to fall for the lie that only capitalist societies are corrupt. It wouldn’t be so bad if Keir Starmer hadn’t told anyone who would listen that ‘his government was going to be different’. 🤢

Exclusive: Sir Keir Starmer did not speak to Lord Mandelson before appointing him as the ambassador to the US and instead delegated the vetting of his links to the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein to two personal friends of the peer The prime minister was presented with a catalogue of explicit warnings about Mandelson’s close relationship with Epstein, which continued after the American financier was convicted of child sex offences Starmer instructed Morgan McSweeney, his chief of staff and a personal friend of Mandelson, to ask the peer just three questions about his links to Epstein. McSweeney did not express any view about Mandelson’s responses Mandelson’s responses were assessed by Matthew Doyle, who was the prime minister’s director of communications at the time and also a personal friend of the peer. He declared that he was “satisfied” with Mandelson’s answers. He subsequently admitted to socialising with him at around the time of the appointment It will raise further questions about Starmer’s claim in the Commons that he followed “full due process” in the appointment of Mandelson thetimes.com/article/58d4ab…

@PippaP22 @Falcon_Malteser On balance I'd say videos of what she's saying have gone further because people are raging about the outfit, leading to debate. It's a very Ed Davey approach to gaining more traction if you're looking at it from a marketing perspective

Lots of fair comments about whether it is misogyny to comment on a woman's appearance but also quite a strong tone of you a little lowly person are not allowed to have an opinion on how MPs present themselves in parliament, if doesn't belong to you, none of your business

@SophieLB1 @Falcon_Malteser Whilst I absolutely do not agree with the misogyny, or comments about appearance, do you not see that it’s exactly because she wore this outfit that people are focusing on her, and not her words. Sometimes the etiquette (for want of a better word) is there for a reason.

@Falcon_Malteser Most posts about what she's wearing have these tones 👇🏼. She's wearing suit trousers, a shirt and a waistcoat just ✨colourful✨. I wish more people were less abusive about her looks and more interested in what she has to say. It just feels outdated and tedious for women
