When I was a student organizer for the left, my organization had meetings with Southern Poverty Law Center where they would go over all of the different “hate groups” and “hate events” they were tracking across the country. At the time, this terrified me and pushed me further down the path of leftist activism. Now, it seems so much of that was fabricated. Completely unsurprising to hear this story now, but back then I feel for it hook, line, and sinker! This is hilarious, mortifying, and scary all at once!
