Everyone automatically assumes a church pastor is corrupt when asking for tithes. What ppl don’t realize is a church has bills…. Like water, electricity, rent… not to mention doing community events. None of that is free, it cost money. Pastor is upset that ppl are barely giving offering and he has to carry the weight of the financial responsibilities of the church. How can you attend a church not give 5%-10% of what you make to help sustain the church. I just seen a video of a Pastor and his wife living in their car for two years. I’ve talked to Pastors who have told me they had to carry the financial burden for their church and was afraid to ask for more money to help. So when you see a Pastor asking for money don’t automatically use the secular stereo type that he’s corrupt and is greedy.

Pastor told his congregation to bring copies of their tax returns so he can review them: "I’m gonna put a stop to some of y’all playing in my face during tithes and offerings"
