@jaynemesis @pierre_crypt0 Yep, I am pro-BTC, but it shouldn't succeed on being a tax-dodge or a planet-boiler. I don't see why that's controversial. FWIW I believe it can be managed correctly on tax and can possibly catalyse renewables (and help stop people speculating on property - the current model).

So... I'm the only one feeling like billionaires are kind of making bitcoin their toy ? Closed door meetings doesn't feel really decentralised. Incoming weak points for #Bitcoin ? Or I'm just over thinking this and it's just great.

This from @OBR_UK is spot on. Spending plans from 2022 include precisely nothing for dealing with additional pressures arising from the pandemic, of which there are plenty. In fact they involve spending cuts relative to pre-pandemic plans. Is that really credible?
