@cb_doge This could be fixed by Monday lunchtime if racists were able to accept African immigration. Africa is a demographic powerhouse.

NEWS: Europe is running out of people. EU’s population is projected to collapse by 50+ million this century as birth rates hit record lows. • Fertility is ~1.4–1.6 children per woman, far below replacement • Deaths outnumber births in many countries This is exactly the civilizational demographic collapse @elonmusk has warned about for years. Low Birth Rate = Decline of Civilization Humanity is dying.

theguardian.com/world/live/202… Isn't this the behavior that built up th the "Death to America" crap? No sympathy for Iranian government, but we're saying, "Stand and Deliver. Your oil or your life." We're behaving like modern road agents.

Still not much traffic through the strait of Hormuz. Until this changes, oil prices will remain high and the stock market will struggle. President Trump isn't going to let this continue. The strait will open up the easy way or the hard way. That's up to Iran.

Iran will lose war, U.S. will declare victory. Oil will drop to around $60/barrel. The Dow will surpass 50,000. The S&P 500 will surpass 7,500. Interest rates will be cut 3-4 times. The 10 year interest rate will fall. Unemployment will drop below 4%. Republicans will win mid terms.

@theiaincameron It has also boasted 'you can shop here without having to go into Glasgow' for possibly 700-800 years (when it was granted royal market burgh / trade rights 😂). I genuinely wonder if that trope has continued since then.

@theiaincameron Joking apart, I love Kirky dearly - it has a truly enviable cafe culture (that similar towns talk a out and aim for but never quite achieved), it is historic, and in 2026, still liveable.

The well-known town of Kirkintilloch (Kirky to locals) lies just north of Glasgow. Its name, like Stenhousemuir's, can trace its origins back 2,000 years, well before Gaelic came to Scotland. Spoiler alert: it has nothing whatsoever to do with a 'kirk' (church). 1.

@Jeremybtc Fair question - it's because most oil users can't just cut their use by 20%, so they start chasing it on price. Demand is 'price inelastic' - if you increased the price of a particular chocolate bar then conceivably demand would drop proportionally. But not oil.

So if only 20% of the worlds Oil supply passes through the Strait of Hormuz Why did the price go up more than 20%?

🚨🚨 IRAN MAY DEPLOY MINES IN HORMUZ STRAIT U.S. intelligence indicates Iran is preparing to deploy naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz using small vessels carrying 2–3 mines each. Estimates suggest Iran’s stock ranges from 2,000 to 6,000 mines of Iranian, Chinese, and Russian origin, posing a potential threat to shipping in the critical waterway.

Robert F Kennedy announces new ultra processed food labels will soon be mandatory on all food products The product will also have a color code to determine how toxic and unhealthy it is This is a HUGE win! RFK Jr to Joe Rogan “By April, we will have a federal definition of ultra-processed foods, first time in the history. And as soon as we do that, we're gonna do front of package food labeling. So every food in your grocery store will have a label, maybe a green light, red light, yellow light telling you whether or not it's gonna be good for you — It's gonna evaluate all of the ingredients, et cetera. So I, you know, I think we're not gonna change this overnight, but we're gonna change it pretty quickly. And if you wanna be healthy, we're gonna give you the information to take control of your own health.”

Something ‘worse than a recession is coming’ This is not doom mongering, this is a stark warning from a most credible billionaire And not a billionaire looking to cash in, but an expert in ‘debt cycles’ & one of the top investors/fund managers in the world today In fact, many other credible billionaire investors are now calling the crash, like CEOs of the world’s biggest banks, the Big short guy & Robert Kiyosaki And Ray Dalio believes the national/global debt is far too high He warns about the U.S (& the U.K.) needing to borrow too much money. But who will lend to them? Other billionaires are calling the stock market a ‘super bubble’ and that is could crash 50% It’s rare that so many big investors agree on the markets, but they are all saying the same thing Another global economic crisis in the next three years In this time Gold and silver will likely go up (even) more. Cheaper properties (esp. Commercial on the high street) will become available. Businesses will be on fire sale I have personally moved 6 figure sums of my stocks (not ISAs) into other liquid asset classes. 60% growth cashed in. I’m not giving advice, just sharing that my actions follow my words I also was very bullish on Gold & silver repeatedly since 2020, so I hope you caught the wave of that So could this also be the biggest ‘opportunity’? What do you think?

@spectatorindex If you make 10% on 100k, you need to pay 3,600 in tax. If $106,400 becomes your new investment baseline on which you're taxed, then this measure taxes a little more over the years but not much. (Because currently the capital gains baseline is pegged at the original 100k.)

@theswansjr Yes, and it applies even more strongly to the distortion of stuffing money into real estate. Huge inflation, transferring money from average people to those with people with capital ... $100T of speculative money (about a third of total). Bitcoin could ideally eat that up.

Fiat is so broken we hoard metal instead of using it. Gold and silver should build tech, power grids, and save lives. Instead, they sit idle in vaults. That’s price distortion. That’s stalled innovation. That’s primitive money. Industrial metals are for industry. Bitcoin was built to be money, nothing else.

With Bitcoin trading at $81K and $MSTR's average price of $76K, @Saylor has earned just 6.5% over the past five years on the $54 billion he invested in Bitcoin. That’s about 1.3% per year. Bitcoin can’t even keep up with inflation. MSTR would have done better just buying T-bills.
