just got back from the vet. didn't do an x-ray, but after a physical exam the vet thinks he's totally fine and it's probably a muscle sprain. i got some meds for him and i'm sOOOOOOOOOO RELIEVED YOU HAVE NO IDEA. omfg. i was sweating it

@Qkumber2 going to a vet tomorrow to see how serious it is. hopefully he only needs pain meds and it's something minor :(

asta has some hip injury/sensitivity and refuses to go up the stairs. im freaking tf out yall !!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

@obakeookami First thought goes to hip dysplasia, that one thing mentioned as like a common condition in many breeds when i used to watch the discovery channel. Time to visit the vet, or call them at least

@Qkumber2 unfortunately im starting to believe its hip dysplasia becaus thats incredibly common in australian shepherds. im still monitoring him but my sisters bf said his legs are bowing/leaning together when he goes upstairs which is really really bad news.

@obakeookami I had to take my grandmothers dog to the vet the other week and she said medium/large dogs can safely take half of a paracetamol twice a day for pain relief, maybe look into that for him?

my dad has informed me it was most likely dog jizz instead of piss. cos he was humping a pillow beforehand before ejaculating everywhere i'm going to kill myself
