The chances of a cyclonic tropical low developing in the 2nd week of December over the northern the Coral sea are increasing on the latest Euro model 100+ member ensemble. Sea surface temperatures in that area are 1ยฐ to 2ยฐc above average, currently between 29ยฐc & 31ยฐc.

9 days away from the start of cyclone season. With the support of @global_respond, the MOH๐ป๐บ is conducting EMT provincial training this week, onboard MV HELPR-1. As part of preparedness, this strengthens the provincial capability and capacity to lead and respond locally.
