On the island of Maewo, villagers from Asunvari requested fresh drinking water as soon as the @global_respond and HELPR-1 team arrived ashore. Because of its capability to produce 5,000L/day of fresh water from its onboard desalination plant, we were able to assist immediately.

In the wake of #tclola in #Vanuatu HELPR-1 has been assisting #Cyclone assessment and response teams to quickly reach impacted communities with our crew clearing the way for them.

Experienced Vanuatu Ministry of Health dentist Dr. Gaddi Huri provided much-needed dental services to the people of Abwatuntora and surrounding villages in north Pentecost, in the province of Penama recently. Dr. Huri treated over 70 patients in one day.
