@RevMeshoe @A_C_D_P No. No it won’t. For a start, we’ll be treating a health issue as a health issue, not a criminal one. Not to mention the fact that prison sentences for users is a great way to introduce social criminals to real criminals: weed sentences are a gateway to criminality.

I’m disappointed the Constitutional Court has decriminalized the private possession, consumption & cultivation of dagga at home. SA already has a serious drug problem -many users eventually seek stronger drugs & are engaged in crime. The #DaggaDecision will make the problem worse
