Newark school system: From outrageously flagrant, wasteful spending to shady hiring practices to offensive limitation of public comments and now…this, what appears on its surface to be an over-the-top, half $ billion facilities deal. Given that over 80% of the $$ this district spends…($1.3 BILLION per year after astounding $800 million increase over last 7 years!) comes from state taxpayer pockets…it’s time for formal state oversight of the Newark school system.

WOW 🚨 45 New Jersey Democrats voted against agreeing to house illegal immigrants in their own homes
Democrats did however vote overwhelmingly "Yes" for taxpayers to continue paying $1,600 a month to pay for each illegal
Assemblyman Paul Kanitra “They themselves wouldn't share the burden or take a stake in it”
“How about I cut right to the chase and make an amendment, Mr. Speaker. I'll give everybody an opportunity to prove me wrong. So since you guys care so much about illegal immigrants, I'd like to make an amendment that says that everybody who votes yes on this bill agrees to take somebody into your own home and financially support them.”
Democrats overwhelmingly rejected this but voted for taxpayers to keep financially supporting illegals

‼️TODAY IN TRENTON: I cannot take the Dem Majority seriously when they voted to block federal notification while releasing repeat illegal offenders & refuse to even distinguish between legal and illegal immigration. They tap dance around illegal border crossings like it’s an inconvenience to acknowledge. Criminal migrants who commit serious crimes: arson, assault, murder, trafficking are not just “our neighbors.” Cut it out. No, not everyone here illegally is a violent criminal. Of course not. But not everyone is Mr. Rogers, either. And the “party of compassion” seems to have forgotten the meaning when families were mowed down by illegal drunk drivers, when 8-year-old little girls were left with fractured skulls, or when foreign nationals, including women and children from South and Central America, were trafficked into the U.S. and exploited and abused. How very compassionate. They celebrated Biden’s open borders & then claim the moral high ground while asking NJ families (who are drowning under asinine policies and spending) to fund "free" programs for people who crossed the border illegally. And now A-4071 locks the grossly-misnamed Immigrant Trust Directive into law, forcing the release of people law enforcement should be able to hold, restricting cooperation with federal authorities & intentionally shielding immigration status when it directly impacts public safety. This bill is written so badly that even Governor Murphy refused to sign it on his way out the door, citing obvious legal issues. We know exactly how this plays out, and we've had more than enough. I voted NO.

In New Jersey, we’ve made huge progress securing housing that’s affordable for our veterans.
Today with NJ SOS Vets, we cut the ribbon on a new apartment building in Montvale that will soon be home to some of our nation’s veterans – especially those who’ve been having a hard time.
Here at this site, they won’t just be getting keys, they’ll be getting peace of mind – moving from survival to stability and a new life of independence.

This is the most fiscally responsible budget New Jersey has seen in years – it halves the structural deficit, fully funds our pension system, and does not raise taxes on individual New Jerseyans.
At the same time, it stays focused on the kitchen table issues that matter most to families – delivering direct property tax relief, prioritizing youth mental health services, and making it easier to do business here in New Jersey.
I promised transparency and to shake up the status quo – and this budget is just the start of building a more affordable and accountable New Jersey.
