@Rainmaker1973 Massimo, very good but for the difference between a UK gallon and a a US gallon. There are 16fl oz to a US pint and 20 fl oz to a UK pint, so (8 pints to a gallon) a US gallon will only be 80% of a UK gallon. So a UK gallon will be 5 litres. (Better check my maths just in case).

@au_tom_otive You couldn’t take enough from a 3 pin socket to have any meaningful charge on an average EV though.

The only way you can practically do this - because any driver with home charging can simply plug into a 3-pin outlet instead - is to increase the general rate of VAT on all domestic electricity, which is clearly not going to happen.
