I recognized the feeling immediately. 2020 didn’t feel like medicine. It felt like communism. The individual no longer mattered—only the “collective.” Doctors were told who to treat. The unvaccinated were told they could die. That is not medicine.

The New York Times fabricated their AI startup story. It generated 401M USD in 2025 and could reach 1.8B USD in 2026. Medvi received FDA Warning Letter #721455 in February 2026 for misbranding violations. Its clinician network, OpenLoop, suffered a data breach in January 2026 that exposed 1.6 million patient records. Futurism reported that they used AI-generated deepfake before-and-after photos in their marketing. A class action lawsuit was filed in Delaware in November 2025. They are also running 800+ fake doctor accounts on Facebook to sell compounded GLP-1s.

As of April 1, British Columbia's Health Professions and Occupations Act (Bill 36), takes effect by replacing self-regulation with government-appointed boards, reducing regulatory colleges from 15 to six, and introducing stricter, centralized disciplinary processes. This means if doctors don’t agree with the government, their license could be stripped, they could be fined up to $500,000, and they can go to jail for up to 2 years. It also mandates vaccinations for professionals. BC is going to lose a lot of great doctors during a time when it already has a shortage.
