For Responses API:
1. Don't change instructions and tool in between turns
2. Only append items to the input, never change or remove
3. Set prompt_cache_key to a stable value across turns

There isn’t enough being said about efficient caching when deploying models in production. Structuring your input the right way can lead to 90%+ tokens being cached in agentic flows. Cached input tokens are 10x cheaper than non-cached ones.

Any test that achieves its goal with reasonable effort is good enough. It's good to state the goal and estimate effort before working on test improvements and never do it just because someone thinks it's cleaner

@PeterMarcu I would just start pulling squares out. 1980 is divideable by 4 because it ends in 80, 117 is divideable by 3 because the sum of digits is divideable by 3. 117/3=39 so you can get another 3 there. Etc...

This is 7th grade. All the variables aren't the problem, it's the constants. The variables simplify easily with the rules they learn. Why the need for 117 and 1980. Maybe there is a trick I don't know to help them see that that is the same as 13/220?
