From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many terrorist fighters and commanders. The insurgents’ counterattack is a sign of desperation.
I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led by Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country in Borno State.
The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever.
I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged.
Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety.
I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable.
My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace.

@theademola @femi_dapson Electric cars do not use engine oil because combustion doesn't take place but some uses transmission oil but that you won't need to change for a very long time, sometimes not in the lifetime of the car.

@Oshio_44 @Howolarbie2 @LaceVine Do your research. There are 2 specs 1.5t and 2.0t, the 2.0t is very reliable but can’t say the same for 1.5t.

Trailer being parked there is wrong but nobody is taking about wreckless driving, over speeding and driving under the influence.. Nigeria is known for bad roads and trailers parking unnecessarily but let’s talk about how a lot of young drivers are wreckless, see where you for dey speed… mtchewww

Just yesterday, a young man and his girlfriend gruesomely lost their lives together at this same Ago Palace Way area. They were killed brutally in a horrific accident.
It all started when a container truck was carelessly parked right in the middle of the main road, creating a dangerous obstruction. The guy, probably trying to navigate the usual chaos of that route, ran straight into the stationary truck at Ago Palace Way bridge. This is the exact kind of nightmare that makes people swear never to drive through Festac, Amuwo, or Ago Palace again.
May their souls rest in perfect peace

Here in South we believe Honda have this steering system problem. We call it, "o ma yawo".
Meanwhile people love them for that top speed.
I can recommend Honda for anybody looking for best car with very effective AC system and Top speed.

@Verterex_Prop That might be difficult but I don’t think Andrew will like to go to court cuz he’s not winning that case. Settling out of court will be the way out
Hopefully the dealer refund parts of his profits to the buyer
English

@paramountTimmy I just want to be sure: can the buyer still get his money back legally even if he comes up with some surprises of his own?
English

Please I have a question.
Be honest with me. It is a little bit sensitive so put emotions aside.
There is an ongoing issue right now. I am a car dealer, so in our line of business car owners often come to us wanting to sell their vehicles. We have a conversation, they state the price they want, and we reach an agreement.
This is where it gets interesting: after the owner states his price, the dealer usually adds his own margin to the car.
Now that you understand the backstory of how this works...
I have a partner whom I will name Andrew for this story. A man brought his car to sell. Andrew agreed on a price but reduced it further. He explained that the car does not move well in the market and it would be difficult to find a buyer. He also told the man that if he sells the car, he would take a 5 percent commission.
The man was desperate to sell because he had been trying for some time with no success. They signed an agreement and that was it.
Andrew started posting the car on his social media platforms, paid for Instagram ads, and gave the car top priority.
Six months passed and Andrew could not sell the car. The man kept pressuring him, saying he urgently needed a buyer.
Then luck smiled on Andrew. A buyer messaged him on TikTok. They discussed the car, and it turned out the buyer had been looking for this exact model and was desperate.
Andrew noticed the desperation and quoted 180 million Naira (130,000 USD). Telling the buyer that it is a Toks and haven't been used. The buyer negotiated down to around 150 million Naira (108,000 USD).
The original seller had asked for 100 million Naira (72,000 USD), but Andrew had reduced the price to 80 million Naira (57,000 USD) with a 5 percent commission on that amount that's about 4 million Naira bout 2,896 in USD.
The buyer came in person with his mechanic, inspected and serviced the car, and everything checked out. Andrew then informed the original seller that the car had been sold. The seller received his share and was grateful.
Later, the buyer had issues with the documentation. Since it was a used car, the papers had to go through the original owner. Andrew, being very busy, could not handle the stress himself and told the buyer to contact the original owner directly. The buyer had no idea the car still belonged to that man.
Andrew expected everything to be sorted quickly.
A few days later, Andrew received court papers. The buyer is no longer interested in the car and wants his money back. Now the original owner of the car is suing Andrew for emotional damages as well.
Emotions aside: Does the original seller and the buyer have a case against Andrew? Does Andrew stand any chance in court? Especially with this new claim of emotional damages?

My guy just got served court papers and is being sued for emotional damages.

@RBizenter @WilJay_1 This things are machines! Why should I prove that I’m not lazy by driving manual when there’s something else that makes life easier and also reliable, what’s the point?
Manual inside traffic isn’t a job, I only enjoy manual on long journeys.
English

@WilJay_1 The only reason is laziness. It's not that it's more economical.
English

There's a reason manual transmission is fading away!
