@MargMowczko It's called the ESV (extra sexist version) for a reason. 😉 But seriously, it can be a great translation. You just have to be mindful of patriarchal land mines.

I'm genuinely shocked that the ESV consistently, over 100 times, translates "ἐν τοῖς + dative noun" as "among the ..." except for Romans 16:7, the Andronicus and Junia verse, and one other verse. This is telling!
Dain Alexander Smith@dainsssss

If you aren’t already aware, the ESV Bible is littered with poor translation choices that support patriarchy and suppress women in church leadership. Check out my video detailing this: 3 Problems with the ESV youtu.be/FsBxa0HoHz4

It's Path of Exile: Crucible launch week! Today, we'll share an FAQ including many of the q's that came up over the weekend. There will be some extras that didn't make it - we'll put these into the RAQ post where possible. Teasers will continue. We are aware of stance feedback.

@KaitlynSchiess I've been reading through a collection of Wendell Berry essays (read by Nick Offerman). Really enjoying it — Berry's work is both beautiful and thought-provoking as he challenges many cultural assumptions on technology, capitalism, global economics, etc.

I’ve got five hours in the car tomorrow - anyone have any audio book recommendations? I’m thinking non-fiction, history or politics or sociology especially, but I’d be up for anything that you think listening to would be especially fun!

@MabbitRan I think everyone is misreading this change and getting overly dramatic. @elonmusk is not removing 2FA for non-subscribers. He's just pushing you to an MFA auth app like Google, MS, Duo, etc. A free for you 2FA option that doesn't cost Twitter like text messages 2FA does.

I try not to spread negativity too much, but can I just say that Elon Musk is without a doubt the most pathetic man alive?

@jesseeubanks It's a "hot take" driven culture and rarely is short-form content worth our time.

Yesterday, Jackie Hill Perry called the enneagram “demonic” and said that she had to apologize to God for being involved with it. A thread offering my response:

@JoanneCKlein Nothing gov-specific that detailed, but the variances between platforms has more to do with limitations than licensing differences. Either way m365maps.com is your friend. :)

Is there an official PDF that shows the Government cloud license differences across different features for security & compliance? (Similar to the PDF you can download at aka.ms/ComplianceSD for the commercial cloud) My google-fu is failing me. #GCC #GCCH #DoD #Purview

@JoanneCKlein You just have to be smart with ordering/priorities because site owners will get automated emails if their site is storing more sensitive data (high priority) within lower priority containers.

@JoanneCKlein IMO these almost always have to be designed independently. With the way that container-based labels permit/disallow guest access, this is often relevant for inclusion in the label's visual cue to end-users and that same title wouldn't always be relevant when labeling docs/email.

MIP people! 👩‍💻 Do you create different sensitivity label taxonomies for these 2 scopes: (they could be similar) - Files/Emails - Sites/Unified Groups I’ve discovered there’s 2 very distinct camps on approach… 1 is right. 😁

Just to keep you updated about our coming news schedule, we're planning to share the 20/20 gems post tomorrow. Due to time constraints and some technical limitations, we won't be able to share a preview of the Atlas tree before launch.

@JoanneCKlein Really depends on if the content is being sent externally or if the external parties are coming to you via B2B. I like UDP/do not forward controls, especially since we'll have UDP support in web apps soon, but really depends on the scenario.

@danliest I wouldn't underestimate @elonmusk. @Twitter has survived despite its mediocrity a long time. I think there's a lot of potential here.

In our upcoming 3.20 expansion, Archnemesis will be replaced with a system that is more similar to the way monster mods worked in the past. More: bit.ly/3hMvACW
