@pc602 A e-bike is one of the best things I’ve bought. Usually go out 2-3 times a week about 60ks each time. Bike tracks around the city are excellent.

The poor old EFF was feeling sad. He's got to go back to the real world and ask"WTF?!" (That's Where's the fuel? ) He's had a fab time riding the electric bicycle but is somewhat dismayed that this could be a full time thing! WTF?! [This time that may have a different meaning]

Ran out of diesel in my V8 Landcruiser Ute this morning so I callled NRMA road side assistance , they wrote my Ute off😂😂

Rotto. A couple of observations. Usually when I go to the shops the service attendant normally says "Can I help you? " Here? "Stand and deliver! " The other is that given what's going on around the place at the moment, I can't help but feel like Nero in a Viola shop.

@S_M_Bowman The size of the array that they are proposing off Dunsborough has some worried. I don't really know. On the bike ride back to our unit it just got me thinking that it could be possible to place some in a less hostile environ. Living where I do I'm more than aware of mntce costs.

Rottnest is 1900ha, surely they can bung a heap of the big jobbies in and save on transmission costs/power loss to Perth? If they're OK to put them in whale migration routes why not here?

One great thing about getting old is having the grandies and their cousins come and stay for the night. Even the quarter to 7 swim is a hoot, tho at times it's like trying to herd cats!

@PiggottTash @pc602 Yep we took 18 T tiles of our 45 yr old farm house !! Put 800kg of tin and insulation back !!!! Recon it had a big sigh ahhhhhhhhhhh !!!!

The EFF thought to himself "its funny, all through my career i was always working out logistics, fuel & fertiliser requirements, how many tonnes of grain to deliver (so I don't move too many field bins) and yet i find myself stunned that there's 17tonnes of tiles on my roof! "

@PiggottTash @pc602 Mate did his roof years ago. Said 30t of tiles came off. Veranda posts came out of the concrete 😂

@pc602 We tinned a coupla roofs about twenty years back - our farmhouse & Newmans (that was Anne & Alan Andrew’s house). Crazy how many tonnes of tiles are up there. Tin is much lighter & sounds better when it rains 😊😊
