@phlexui
UI component library for ruby devs. Stop building the basics, forget about JS and just copy paste well crafted and nicely designed components instead.

For all paying users of @phlexui 👋
I have added a voting system for components that you would like to see built next. I will use this as my guide for which components to prioritise 🤘

@phlexui what's with the 4 space indents coding style? Isn't ruby 2?

Aiming to give users lots of control over design, so they can make their @phlexui components look just right for their applications 👌
Should have a beta version out in a week or 2 ✨🎉

@janklimo @bradgessler Its custom built using phlexui components. It's easy to get the component to display, but I had a little difficulty getting it to display the component and the code at the same time. I will message you with code example 🤘
English

@phlexui @bradgessler Big fan of the component preview page phlexui.com/docs/card is it custom built or did you use any gems you’d recommend? E.g. there’s ViewComponent/lookbook I used previously.
English

I think @bradgessler is spot on here. This is why we are building with phlex components 👌🏻 very exciting time to be a Ruby dev ✨

@george_kettle @joemasilotti @rails @phlexui ViewComponent is much better than Rails partials, but to use a tired analogy, it’s a faster horse and buggy. github.com/rubymonolith/s… opened my eyes to how Phlex could drastically improve the Rails front-end story. I haven’t used Strong Params in months and it’s been great.

@george_kettle @jmddotfm @rails Just updated with this message. Anything to add?
Hey there, thanks for getting in early! 🎉 If we hit 10 sales, this thing's a go 🚀 Next steps: I'll send you an email within the next week with how close we are to 10 sales 😉 In the meantime, share it with a fellow Ruby dev.
English

Just got my first sale with @phlexui 🎉
I can't explain how overjoyed I am right now. A side project, and 2 weeks later...
I tried a new approach of getting sales before building it, and it worked!
Any @rails devs, check it out phlexui.com
