Honestly, ChatGPT was insanely helpful for debugging this step by step. Would have taken me way longer alone.

after digging deeper, I found the real issue: lo was up, but missing the 127.0.0.1/8 address. So every upstream using 127.0.0.1 failed. Fixed it with: sudo ip addr add 127.0.0.1/8 dev lo

After restarting my VPS, all Nginx reverse proxy services started returning 504 Gateway Time-out. The backend process was running, the port was listening, but Nginx kept timing out when connecting to 127.0.0.1.

It’s pretty good, I would add an app preview. So when I was scrolling the AppStore one day, one of the apps started moving and I was like woah. So I added one to mine. I would also challenge you to make another icon. It’s just a T with rays coming out of it. People are going to install it on their phone. Make it pretty.
