I'm building an app called "FocusFish". It's a focus timer app. - Users focus and build an aquarium. - Each time they focus, they earn coins🪙. - With coins, they can purchase fish🐠. - If the user doesn't focus, the fish will die🥲. - They add plants, stones, bamboo, and more🌱. This is just an MVP. I need to test it more, so your feedback will help me take FocusFish to the next level.

OK, you can check the installs or even proceeds from App Store Connect. So my meta ads made 57 downloads and $0 sales 😂

Don’t trust your Meta Ads Manager data completely. Most users will reject the ATT prompt, so it depends mainly on Apple's SKAdNetwork, which is fuckin slow (take 24–72 hours) and may not be completely accurate either. Instead, trust your own baseline. For example, if you usually get an average of 10 installs per day and it jumps to 20 after you start running ads, while doing nothing else outside of that, by basic thinking you know that installs are definitely coming from your ads. The same applies to trials etc.

@pcshipp Retention improves when users stop needing motivation to come back. The product has to become part of their workflow, identity, or routine. Otherwise you’re just renting attention until the next shiny thing shows up.

Guys, don't feel bad. If you're building a SaaS, try to buy a .com domain because people trust it more. If you're building a mobile app, a .app domain is perfectly fine it clearly tells users it's an app.
