I surpassed 20,000 users with no advertising. The biggest myth in startups is you need to build less and market more. Reality? Problem → Solution Each hockey stick event we've had was due to a UI or feature update. X is filled with "blah blah blah just market bruh", yeah right 🙄 Marketing will just amplify what you're already doing. There's no shortcuts. For us: > Our socials are dead > No ad spend > I've paused emails I will write an article on this soon, cos so many people are throwing money at the wall or screaming into the abyss when they should really be working on solving the customers pain point. It's so simple. Problem → Solution Problem → Solution Problem → Solution That's it. Get it right, users will come. Then you can start marketing. Source: Me. I ran a highly successful marketing agency for 5 years, managed $100k+ in ad spend, wrote a book on marketing and scaled multiple companies. I understand marketing and distribution. Focus on solving the pain point guys.
