It's a focus timer app. - Users focus and build an aquarium. - Each time they focus, they earn coins🪙. - With coins, they can purchase fish🐠. - If the user doesn't focus, the fish will die🥲. - They add plants, stones, bamboo, and more🌱. This is just an MVP. I need to test it more, so your feedback will help me take FocusFish to the next level.

@pcshipp That usually ends up to be the case for freemium options. Maybe grandfather some users and charge the rest? If they really need your service they will subscribe.

This is one of the most dangerous sides of being an indie hacker I’ve seen so many posts about apps being terminated instantly without a proper reason, warning, or nothing That’s why I’m diversify into iOS and web apps Depending on a single income source is a huge nightmare

I’m never going to build a new Android app again I’m giving free credits that let users access my premium plan, but users still want everything for free If I don’t give full access for free, they leave a 1-star review What can I do in this situation?

I have 1,400+ active users, and 60% use Guest Mode I made login mandatory to access paid features. Users started leaving 1⭐ reviews and delete the app If I allow paid features without login, becomes much harder to manage backend What would you do in this situation?

100 accounts usually means one phone can manage 3–4 TikTok accounts, so you’d need around 35 iPhones If each second-hand iPhone costs about $200, your total investment would be roughly $7,000 And even after spending that much, there’s still a chance your accounts could get banned Why not invest the same $7,000 in ads instead?
