You don't get blue flags by being faster than the cars around you.
He also got more penalties for track limits. At Paul fucking Ricard.
He also qualified slow.

He's in the fastest car, and got blue flags because he was slower than the cars behind him, lapping him.
If you see that and say "I'm a fan of that guy!", good for you.

His team amassed 465 SECONDS in penalties for blue flag and track limit violations.
The Aston Martin entry finished 48TH, lapped 12 times by its sister car.

Stroll comments the other day how he likes GT because it’s an even playing field vs. f1 development. Proceeds to go slow as ass and qualifies 20th and races wheel to wheel just a terrible as shown here. Dude shouldn’t be racing imo. Nepotism at the highest levels.
