Day 180/180 🧵1/6 I'd start things. Never finish them. Every. Single. Time. Stumbled across @cneuralnetwork's tweet about starting a challenge called ' 180 days of whatever'. The idea was simple: Doesn't matter what you post, the goal is to build consistency.

Built a full auth system from scratch.. - bcrypt , RS256 JWTs , OAuth , OIDC discovery .. the whole thing.. no libraries doin the magic.. just me and the RFC lol Thanks to : @piyushgarg_dev @nirudhuuu @Hiteshdotcom #chaicode @ChaiCodeHQ and little frontend for testing..

Day 179/180 Learnt about concepts revolving around OIDC: - Asymmetric vs Symmetric auth - JWTs, JWKS & public/private keypairs - OpenID Providers - Discovery & UserInfo endpoints Omw to build my own auth platform! (think Clerk, but mine)

Day 178/180 Building an IPL management system from scratch. MongoDB for the DB. Express for RESTful CRUD endpoints. Also learnt about: - Embeddings & References - Junction Tables @ChaiCodeHQ @surajtwt_ 2 days left for the 180 day challenge. The end is close.

Day 177/180 Learnt about File Handling in Node.js: - fs module operations: read, write and handling files - Multer for handling file uploads - ImageKit @ChaiCodeHQ

Day 176/180 More SQL today: - Types of Joins - Transactions - ACID properties - Designing DB schemas - 'FOR UPDATE' in SQL locks a row so only one transaction can modify it at a time. Useful to know while building ticket booking apps. @ChaiCodeHQ @Hiteshdotcom @nirudhuuu

Day 175/180 In-depth learning about Databases today, emphasizing on SQL DBs: - DDL, DML & Aggregate operations - Filtering & sorting records - Limit & Offset Databases are not storage, hard disks are. DB is software that sits between backend & storage.

Day 174/180 Superb class on Typescript by @yntpdotme sir. Learnt about: - Special types in TS: any, unknown, never, void - Type Aliases - Interfaces - Generics - Union & Intersection Types
