A few days ago, I went to a water factory, you know, just like I always do, thinking about how to keep myself safe. While I was there, I couldn’t help but notice one of the workers. His nails were long and dirty. I felt a little worried. I thought, “This guy could easily cause more harm than good, making people sick.” I mentioned it to him, and he just shrugged and said, “Microbiologist enah don come,” like it was no big deal. That moment made me realize something, cross contamination can happen anywhere. Even if the process looks good on paper, small things like hygiene during packaging matter a lot. As consumers, we need to be more careful. Always check the water packaging before buying. Buy from trusted sources. Look for proper sealing and cleanliness. Store water properly and keep it away from dirt. When unsure, boil the water before use. Because at the end of the day, our health is in our hands.
