@Stephen__Rout Hey Stephen, sorry, I check Twitter super rarely these days. I don't really have a game that fits in that way; The Case of The Golden Idol is brilliant but does a fraction of what We Didn't Start the Fire does and does it very tangentially.

@profjohnharney You've spent a lot more time thinking about video games as historical teaching tools than I have. Have you come across any good ways for games to convey the same sort of meta lessons about the on-and-on-ness of history that We Didn't Start Fire does?

The Almighty Algorithm has decided that I'll stumble across a few parodies of We Didn't Start the Fire (WDSF), and this deep research (20 minutes of YouTube) has given me a pretty strong opinion about what a good parody/cover of that song needs. It needs a coherent through line.
